On 5 November, 2013 at 3.30 p.m., during the 6th International Forum «The Space of Humanitarian Communication» the Inter-institutional Methodical Workshop "Prospects and Problems of Teaching the History of Ukrainian Culture" will take place.
The workshop is organized by the Department of Cultural Studies of the Institute of Philosophical Education and Science of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University; Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy".
The aim of the workshop: to discuss on the methodology of teaching the course "History of Ukrainian Culture" for humanitarian and technical specialties students; to interchange of teaching experiences and to discuss the main problems; to develope the conceptual framework of presenting the material; to find the reasonable balance of "interesting"/"entertaining" and the necessary knowledge .
Experts, involved in the preparation of training programs, teaching the subject "History of Ukrainian Culture", and the authors of textbooks are invited to apply to participate in the Workshop.

International Conference Ukrainian Regional Studies and Cultural Dialogue: Theoretical and Applied Dimensions will be held on November 8-9, 2013, as a part of the VI International Forum Space of Humanitarian Communication.
The conference organizers are the Institute of Cultural Research (National Academy of Arts of Ukraine), the Institute of Philosophical Education and Science (M. Drahomanov National Pedagogical University), the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Association of Culturologists.
The purpose of the conference is to serve as a social event which will provide an opportunity not only to share academic achievements and experience but also to establish relations between the academic and educational communities as well as the general public.
The organizers invite academics, practicioners, analysts and faculty members of the higher education institutions as well as PhD students to take part in the conference.

The purpose of the festival is to present contemporary projects in the fields of poetry, music and art that support the dialogue of cultures in Ukraine and abroad .
The festival will be attended by poets, musicians, cultural workers of Ukraine and Russia, as well as creative unions and groups representing major trends of modern Ukrainian and Russian poetry and art song, representatives of Visual Arts .
