On the 22nd October, 2013 during the 6th International Forum «The Space of Humanitarian Communication» the workshop "Problems with the Studying History of Religious Studies in Soviet Union" will take place.
The Workshop is organized by the Youth Association for the Study of Religions, the Department of Cultural Studies of the Institute of Philosophical Education and Science of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Department of Philosophy of Religion and Religious Aspects of Culture of the Saint Tikhon's Orthodox University (Moscow, Russia), Editorial Board of the Journal "Researches in Religious Studies".
The aim is to provide scholars with an opportunity to discuss different aspects of the history of Religious Studies in post-soviet area in XX.
The representatives of the following organizations would take part in the seminar: Youth Association for the Study of Religions, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, St. Clement's Center, Saint Tikhon's Orthodox University, Moscow State University.
Faculty, researchers, and post-graduate students in Philosophy, Religious Studies, Theology are invited to apply to participate in the Workshop.
